Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g apples, sour (weighed ready prepared, this corresponds to about 4-5 not too small apples)
- 1,200 g strawberries (weighed ready prepared)
- 400 g kiwi(s) (weighed when prepared, this corresponds to about 8-10 kiwis)
- 1 kg gelling sugar, 2:1
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
First, peel and quarter the apples, and remove the cores. If necessary, cut the quarters a little smaller and place them in a saucepan large enough for all the ingredients. Now boil the apple pieces with a splash of water (100 ml) until soft, then mash them into a puree. In the meantime, peel the kiwis, quarter them lengthwise, remove the white core, and finely chop the flesh. Rinse the strawberries and also cut them into small pieces. Once the apples have been mashed into a puree, add the other fruit, add the gelling sugar, and stir well. Let everything sit for about 3 hours. Bring the fruit puree to a boil and boil gently for 4 minutes. If you like, you can also puree the jam with a hand blender, but this is not necessary. Once the jam has set, fill the prepared jars with the jam.
