Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g chickpea flour
  • 150 ml milk
  • 150 ml mineral water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. It’s best to use a whisk to avoid lumps. If you prefer thinner pancakes, add more liquid. Now heat a little oil or clarified butter in a pan and fry the pancakes in about 4 batches in the hot pan, about 2 minutes per side. The pancakes can be eaten savory or sweet. Don’t be put off by the taste of the raw batter. The pungent chickpea flavor will disappear when heated.
