Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 250 g yogurt
  • 50 ml vegetable oil
  • 80 g peanut butter (crunchy)
  • 2 chocolate bars (Snickers)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peanut butter muffins with Snickers

Place paper baking cups in the muffin tin and preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat) or 175°C (fan oven). Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda and mix well. Cut the chocolate bars into small pieces and set aside. In a second bowl, beat the egg and sugar until frothy, then stir in the vanilla sugar, oil, yogurt, and peanut butter. Fold in the flour mixture and carefully add the chopped chocolate. Pour the batter into the muffin tins and bake for 25-30 minutes. When the muffins are golden brown, remove from the oven and let cool.
