My favorite apple pie, very moist, with quark!
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and grease the edges. Make a batter from the listed ingredients, carefully folding in the stiffly beaten egg whites at the end. Spread the batter on the baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven). Then let the base cool. Cut a very thin layer from the base and crumble it. Finally, add these crumbs to the quark and cream layer. Cook the custard powder with the apple juice according to the package instructions until you have a thick pudding. Mix in the grated apples and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. If you prefer the apples softer, you can also stew them in a little apple juice first. Spread the apple mixture over the base. Let cool. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stabilizer, fold in the quark and spread it over the apple layer. Finally, sprinkle the cake crumbs on top.
