Black and white muffins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 pack of chocolate pudding powder (40 g)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda (but I always leave it out)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 140 g sugar
  • 80 ml vegetable oil (use sunflower oil)
  • 250 g buttermilk
  • 150 g chocolate decoration (chocolate drops)
  • Fat, for the mold or paper bowl

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven). Mix cream cheese with vanilla sugar and milk. Thoroughly mix flour with chocolate pudding powder, baking powder, and baking soda. Lightly beat the egg. Mix with sugar, oil, and buttermilk. Add the flour mixture and stir briefly (otherwise they will collapse). Distribute chocolate chips in the indentations and fill with half of the batter. Add 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture to each layer, then fill with the remaining batter. Bake in the center of the oven for 20-25 minutes. Let rest in the pan for 5 minutes, remove, and let cool upside down.
