Crispy apple pancakes

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 apples or other fruit
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • n. B. Oil (sunflower oil)
  • possibly powdered sugar
  • possibly dessert sauce (vanilla flavor)
  • possibly cinnamon and sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the apples (cherries, blueberries, or rhubarb also taste good here), quarter them, and cut them into 3-4 mm thick slices. Mix together the flour, eggs, sugar (depending on how sour the fruit is, use a little more), baking powder, salt, and buttermilk. Then add the apples to the batter. Now add sunflower oil to the pan until the bottom is covered. You can cook 2-3 pancakes at a time. Remove when golden brown. Serve with powdered sugar, vanilla sauce, or cinnamon and sugar.
