Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g pasta, e.g. spirals
- 30 g butter
- 30 g flour
- 375 ml crème fraîche
- 2 eggs
- ½ tube(s) tomato paste
- 100 g cheese, grated
- 100 g ham, cooked, cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- Butter, in flakes
- salt and pepper
- oregano
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions and drain. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Melt the butter in a large saucepan, sprinkle with flour, and deglaze with the crème fraîche. Let it bubble briefly, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the egg yolks and tomato paste. Melt the cheese in the sauce while stirring, seasoning with salt, pepper, and oregano. Fold in the egg whites. Add the cooked ham. Mix everything with the pasta and pour into a baking dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and add knobs of butter to taste. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C for 15 minutes.
