Vanilla pasta with nougat sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g tagliatelle, wide
  • 1 small can/n pear(s), alternatively 4 small pears
  • ⅛ liter apple juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 150 g Nutella or other nut nougat cream
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • Cinnamon for dusting
  • 1 liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Bring 1 liter of water to a boil with vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Cook the pasta for about 12 minutes. Drain the pears (alternatively, peel, halve, and core the fresh pears). Cut into wedges. Bring the apple juice and sugar to a boil. Sauté the pear slices for about 5 minutes. Heat the milk in a small saucepan. Add the hazelnut spread and stir until dissolved. Roughly chop the hazelnuts. Drain the tagliatelle and arrange on plates with the pear slices. Pour a little nougat sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with hazelnuts. Dust the pears with cinnamon. Serve the remaining nougat sauce separately.
