Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 150 g mixed vegetables, frozen or fresh
  • 100 g ham, cooked, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • Parsley, fresh
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 6 slices of processed cheese
  • some oregano

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Quick and delicious casserole for children and family

Prepare the rice using the soaked rice method (1:2.5). Stir in the vegetables and cooked ham and place in a greased casserole dish. Combine the cream and egg, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and vegetable broth, add the parsley, and pour over the rice. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on top in a shingle pattern, seasoning with salt and pepper. Place the cheese slices on top and sprinkle with oregano. Bake at 225°C for approximately 10-12 minutes.
