Baked tortellini with herbs of Provence

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of tortellini with ham filling (approx. 400 g)
  • Water (salt water)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • some dried meat
  • 200 ml condensed milk (4% fat) or cream
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • Herbs of Provence
  • basil
  • 2 dashes of Tabasco
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 200 g cheese (16% fat), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the tortellini in salted water according to the instructions. Finely dice the beef and onion and fry with the mushrooms in the oil in a pan. Add the crushed or chopped garlic and fry briefly. Mix the cream or, if you’re watching your weight, condensed milk with the spices and herbs and add about 150 ml of water and 50 g of the cheese. Toss the tortellini with the beef and onion mixture in a baking dish and sprinkle with the cream and the remaining cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until the cheese is golden brown. This recipe can also be made with other pasta. Serve with a green salad and a freshly baked baguette.
