Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp peanut oil
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Combine the finely chopped ginger and garlic and all the remaining marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cut the chicken breast fillet and bell pepper into small pieces. Pound the meat until tender and let it marinate for about 1 hour. Then thread the meat and bell pepper pieces onto skewers, alternating them. Cook the skewers on both sides over high heat. This can also be done on the grill. I recommend serving with salad and rice.
