Refreshing Watermelon Lemonade with Mint
The perfect refreshing watermelon lemonade with mint recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,25 piece Watermelon (I had a smaller seedless one)
- 2 Stalk Mint (e.g. mojito mint)
- 1 slightly bigger Lemon
- Mineral water to fill up
- Release the melon meat and weigh 700g.
- Wash the mint stalks, shake off a little and pluck the leaves.
- Put the melon, mint and lemon juice in a larger bowl and puree finely. Let it steep briefly (5 minutes) and then strain through a fine sieve. I do that directly in a measuring cup.
- Now fill up the whole thing with mineral water to a good 1 liter and stir. Which water you take, whether with sparkling water, medium or still, is up to you.
- Fill the finished lemonade into screw-top bottles and let them cool down in the refrigerator for at least an hour. I like to put the bottle in the freezer for a moment, but don’t forget it there.
- Serve with ice cubes and enjoy.
Annotation:
- The mint brings a special freshness, but can be reduced depending on taste.
