Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes, small
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 8 salsicce (Italian sausages)
  • Olive oil for frying
  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 ½ tbsp stock powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • 1 tsp paprika powder of your choice
  • 2 dashes of Tabasco
  • 3 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the potatoes and cut them into small strips (like French fries). Toss them in olive oil, season, add the rosemary, and toss them again. Place them in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes. Fry the sausage in a pan with a little olive oil over medium heat. For the sauce, combine all the other ingredients, including the spices, in a saucepan over low heat and bring to a boil. Adjust the spiciness to taste. After about 20 minutes, everything is ready and delicious.
