Fine apple – hazelnut – chocolate – muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g apples (e.g. Elstar)
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 175 g margarine
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 75 g chocolate (chocolate drops)
  • e.g. rum or rum flavoring

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fluffy and moist, easy and quick to prepare, makes about 20 muffins

Peel and core the apples. Finely chop the apples. Beat the eggs with sugar, rum, and margarine until creamy. Sift in the baking powder, cinnamon, flour, and cocoa powder and stir in. Finally, fold in the hazelnuts, chocolate chips, and apples. Fill the muffin cups (using paper baking cups) three-quarters full and bake the muffins at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes using a fan oven.
