Chicken breast with Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 jar white wine, dry
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 1 handful of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • Basil, some picked leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rub a saucepan with the halved garlic clove. Heat the cream, wine, and lemon juice in it. Crumble the Gorgonzola and melt it in the cream with the Parmesan cheese. Grate in a little nutmeg. Meanwhile, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and brown them all over in olive oil. Then cut into 1-2 cm thick slices and add to the sauce. Just before serving, slice the basil leaves into strips and add to the sauce. Serve with rice, tagliatelle, or hash browns.
