Potato and horseradish gratin

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 800 g potato(s), waxy
  • 250 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • 3 tsp horseradish (cream horseradish)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Grease a baking dish with a little butter. Peel and halve the garlic, then rub it all over the baking dish. Peel and rinse the potatoes, then slice or grate them thinly. Then arrange the slices diagonally in the baking dish, like roof tiles. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix the cream with the horseradish and pour over the potatoes. Then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45-50 minutes.
