Caramel toffee muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 4 tbsp caramel sauce (alternatively chocolate sauce)
  • 200 g confectionery (Toffifee)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat). Grease the cups of a 12-hole muffin tin or line them with paper baking cups. Melt the butter, combine the flour and baking powder, and chop the Toffifees. Whisk the eggs with the crème fraîche, sugar, caramel or chocolate sauce, and butter. Quickly stir in the flour mixture and then fold in the chopped Toffifees. Pour the batter into the tins or muffin cups and bake for 20-25 minutes. Then remove from the oven, let cool briefly, and remove from the pan.
