Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 eggs
  • 375 g flour
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1,250 g apples
  • 200 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and milk, then gradually beat in the eggs. Combine the flour and baking powder and sift them over the remaining batter. Gently mix everything together and spread it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Chop the apples into small pieces and arrange them on the base. Prepare the crumb topping from the remaining ingredients and spread it over the cake. Bake the cake at 175°C for about 30-35 minutes, let it cool, and dust with powdered sugar.
