Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs, the yolks of which
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g walnuts
  • 125 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • ⅛ liter of water
  • ⅛ liter of oil
  • 4 eggs, the egg whites

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Whisk the egg yolks with half of the sugar until fluffy. Gradually mix in the remaining ingredients. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form and fold in. Pour the mixture into a well-buttered and floured Bundt pan and bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 180°C (160°C fan-assisted) for about 50 minutes. Do the toothpick test.
