Parmesan Bacon Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, room temperature
  • 300 g flour
  • 250 g Parmesan
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 10 slice(s) bacon, fried
  • possibly water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Spicy breakfast cookies

Preheat oven to approximately 200°C. Line 1-2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Mix the flour with baking powder and salt. Mix the butter with the Parmesan cheese and the eggs until creamy. Then stir in the flour mixture and season with rosemary and brown sugar. The brown sugar will later balance out the spicy cheese; you can also use regular sugar. Cut the fried bacon into small pieces and mix in. If necessary, loosen the dough with a little water. Shape cookies and place on the baking sheets. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown. Delicious hot or cold. Perfect for breakfast, parties, or simply as a snack. Makes approximately 12 cookies.
