Spaghetti with creamed spinach

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 500 g fresh leaf spinach
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • chili flakes
  • Cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean and wash the spinach, onion, and garlic. Finely chop the onion and garlic, leaving the spinach as is. Heat oil in a large pot and briefly fry the onion and garlic until hot. Add the spinach, season, and simmer gently with the lid closed for 10 minutes. Then add the sweet cream and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti until al dente. Grate the cheese. Arrange the spaghetti on a plate, sprinkle with cheese, and pour the sauce over the top.
