Alaska pollock fillet in basil-cream sauce, baked

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 fish fillets (pollock fillets), frozen (approx. 200 g each)
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 300 ml cream (or Cremafine)
  • 100 ml milk 3.5%
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the frozen fish in a baking dish and season thoroughly with salt and pepper. Finely chop the spring onions and garlic and sprinkle over the fish. Mix the coarsely chopped basil with the milk and cream, season with a pinch of nutmeg, and sprinkle over the fish. Bake in a preheated convection oven for a total of 45 minutes. Cover the baking dish with the lid or aluminum foil at the beginning of the cooking time, then remove it after 30 minutes. If using fresh, non-frozen fish, the cooking time will be reduced.
