Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 60 g semolina
  • 40 g butter, room temperature
  • Salt
  • 1 ½ liters of broth
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy. Stir in the egg and semolina until smooth. Season with salt and nutmeg. Let the dough stand for about an hour. Using two teaspoons of the mixture, drop dumplings into the boiling broth and immediately cover. Let simmer for about 20 minutes. Then serve.
