Tortellini and broccoli casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 broccoli
  • 2 packs of tortellini with cheese or meat filling, 400 g each
  • 600 ml whipped cream
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • e.g. milk
  • e.g. Parmesan
  • 100 g butter
  • n. B. Flour
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

in ham, cheese and cream sauce

Wash the broccoli, cut into small florets, and bring to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Chop the ham into small pieces. Place the broccoli, tortellini, and ham in a casserole dish and mix. Heat the butter in a large saucepan. The bottom should be well coated with melted butter. Stir in the flour until it forms a thick mixture. Now stir in the cream and the processed cheese. Add a little milk if needed. I always keep the sauce quite thick. Season with salt and pepper and stir in a little Parmesan cheese. Pour the sauce over the tortellini in the casserole dish and sprinkle with the cheese. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 20-25 minutes at 180°C (convection oven).
