Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ cup(s) buckwheat
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 onions
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 stalk(s) leek, small
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (tamari)
  • 10 grains of pepper, ground
  • herbal salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of cane sugar
  • 500 g quark 0.5%
  • 150 g buckwheat, ground
  • Buckwheat, ground, as breading possibly,
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

gluten-free + egg-free

Add 1.5 cups of buckwheat to 3 cups of boiling water. Reduce heat to low. When the water level is within the grains, turn off and let it swell. Finely chop the onions, bell peppers, leeks, and tomatoes. Add the quark, sugar, ground buckwheat, pepper, and tamari. Mix everything well and season to taste. With wet hands, form palm-sized patties and fry them on both sides in hot oil over medium heat. You can also coat them in buckwheat flour and then fry them.
