Snack Balls with Cheese and Bacon

The perfect snack balls with cheese and bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 170 g Bacon cubes
  • 1 Pc. Shallot
  • 120 g Cream cheese
  • 120 g Gorgonzola
  • 100 g Snack pretzels
  • 2 tbsp Chives
  1. Fry the bacon cubes in a pan over medium heat for about 10 minutes until it is almost crispy.
  2. Add the finely chopped shallots and fry for another 2 minutes.
  3. Put the cream cheese and crumbled Gorgonzola in a bowl. Add the bacon and shallot mixture and mix everything together well.
  4. It is best to use an ice cream scoop to shape balls out of the mixture and roll them smooth in damp hands.
  5. Place the balls on a plate, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  6. Coarsely crush the snack pretzels in a mortar and mix with the finely chopped chives.
  7. Roll the balls in the mixture and serve.
