Pickled Cheese
The perfect pickled cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Feta
- 250 g Fresh goat cheese thaler
- 1 Chilli pepper
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 0,5 Organic lemon
- 4 Branches Rosemary
- Salt
- Olive oil
- Cut the feta cheese into cubes, cut the cream cheese thaler into small pieces and put both in a glass.
- Cut the chilli pepper into rings, peel the garlic clove, cut it into small pieces, pluck the rosemary needles and layer in the glass with lemon wedges.
- Now fill the glass to the brim with a good olive oil, sprinkle some salt over it and close it. Let it steep in a cool, dark place for about 1 week.
