Butter tomato cream with garlic

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g yogurt (preferably Greek cream yogurt)
  • 3 tube(s) Tomato paste (large tubes)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 pot of basil, alternatively 1 pack of frozen basil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • chili if desired
  • 2 onions, very finely diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Using a food processor or hand mixer, combine the butter, yogurt, and tomato paste until smooth. Crush the garlic, finely chop the basil leaves, and stir in. Season with salt and pepper. Finally, add the very finely diced onions. This topping is best served with warm flatbread or baguette. It will keep in the refrigerator for several days. Variation: Replace half of the butter with feta cheese for a slightly spicier flavor and less fatty texture.
