Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g lasagna sheet(s)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can of tomatoes (peeled tomatoes, 800 g each)
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 125 ml water
  • Parmesan, freshly grated, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

without béchamel sauce

In a pan, brown the minced meat in a little oil with the chopped onion and finely diced garlic cloves. Meanwhile, gently mash the peeled tomatoes in their juice until they form a chunky mixture. Deglaze the minced meat with the tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, and a little oregano. Pour some tomato sauce into a dish, place a layer of pasta sheets on top, then more tomato sauce, sprinkle with some grated cheese, then another layer of lasagna, cover this with tomato sauce and cheese, again layer lasagna sheets, tomato sauce, cheese, and finally more pasta sheets. Spread the crème fraîche on top and sprinkle with cheese. If you like, you can also sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese. Pour the water over the tomatoes and bake at 200°C for 30-45 minutes. This recipe is not the original, but my extremely simplified version.
