Leek and ham gnocchi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 leek(s), approx. 300 g
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • Fat for the mold
  • 500 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 80 g cheese, grated, (mountain cheese)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Clean, wash, and slice the leek. Finely dice the cooked ham. Sauté the leek in olive oil, briefly saute the ham, and season everything with salt and pepper. Cook the gnocchi, drain, and toss with the leek and ham mixture. Place everything in a baking dish. Peel the garlic, finely chop or press (depending on taste), toss with the crème fraîche, and season with the Italian herbs, salt, pepper, and a little lemon juice. Spread the crème fraîche sauce over the gnocchi, sprinkle with the cheese, and bake the casserole in the oven at 200°C on the middle rack for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Serve with a fresh tomato salad.
