Apple-vanilla cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 roll from the day before
  • 1 pack of vanilla sauce powder
  • 300 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 jar apple compote (355 g)
  • 1 tsp sweetener
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Low-calorie dessert, use up leftovers for stale bread rolls

Make a vanilla sauce from sauce powder, sweetener, soy milk, and water. Cut the bread roll into thin slices. In an ovenproof dish, layer a layer of bread slices, then a layer of vanilla sauce, a layer of apple compote, more bread rolls, vanilla sauce, and finally apple compote. Bake at 190°C for 15 minutes. Sprinkle plenty of cinnamon over the top before serving – very important! If you prefer a less runny texture, use two rolls instead of just one. You can, of course, use less sauce or use vanilla pudding instead of vanilla sauce.
