Pasta bake Bolognese

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, e.g. spirelli, fusilli, croissants
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 100 g cooked ham, diced
  • 400 ml cream
  • 15 cherry tomatoes (vine tomatoes)
  • 100 ml brandy
  • 200 g mozzarella, grated
  • 30 g Parmesan, grated
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 30 g butter, Irish
  • salt and pepper
  • herbal salt
  • nutmeg
  • Pizza seasoning
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cook the pasta in salted water for 8 minutes (or according to the package instructions) until al dente. Drain and mix with butter. Mix the cream with salt, pepper, nutmeg, pizza seasoning, and egg. Halve the tomatoes. Dice the onions and finely chop the garlic. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Brown the minced meat in a little olive oil. Then add the onions, garlic, salt, herb salt, and pepper. Continue frying for a while. Deglaze with the passata and brandy. Add instant broth to taste and dissolve. Layer the pasta with tomatoes, diced ham, meat sauce, mozzarella, and a little Parmesan cheese in a suitable, buttered baking dish. Pour the seasoned cream over the pasta and bake on the lowest rack for 25-30 minutes.
