Greek toast with ham and feta cheese

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 slices of toast
  • 1 pack of herb butter, approx. 125 g
  • 6 slice(s) cooked ham, if thin double
  • 1 pack of sheep’s cheese, approx. 200-250 g
  • Spice mix (feta cheese spice) or oregano
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Place the slices of bread on a baking rack lined with baking paper and spread with herb butter. Halve the feta cheese and cut into six slices. Distribute the ham on the slices of bread and drizzle with olive oil. Place the feta cheese slices on top of the ham. Sprinkle a pinch of feta cheese seasoning or oregano on each slice of cheese. Bake for about 12 minutes at 180°C on the middle rack. The cheese should start to brown around the edges. Serve with salad.
