Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Soak the toast or half a roll in a little water and squeeze out any excess liquid. Mix the ground beef with the egg, the soaked bread, salt, and pepper, and form into burger patties the size of the burger buns. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Fry the bacon and slice the vegetables. Set the bacon aside and cook the meat in the same pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side. Turn the meat over and place a slice of cheese on each side of the meat in the pan and place the burger buns in the preheated oven for 3 minutes. Remove the burger buns from the oven, cut them open, and spread ketchup on the underside. Then place the meat with the cheese on the underside and top the burger with the remaining ingredients, put the lid on, and you’re done.
