Not only the kids like it – with cheese in the edge
Knead the flour, water, salt, sugar, and yeast thoroughly using a dough hook or by hand. At the end, add the olive oil and knead briefly. The dough should be smooth and not sticky. Let the dough rise for a few hours at room temperature. Then roll the dough out thinly into a circle on a greased baking sheet. Roll the finely chopped mozzarella into the edge to create a cheese border. Do not tear the dough. Mix the remoulade, mustard, and ketchup and spread in a thin layer over the dough. Arrange the gherkins, sausages, fried onions, and Emmental cheese on the pizza in this order. Bake for 15 minutes at 250°C (top/bottom heat). When the pizza starts to brown, reduce the heat and let it cook for a few minutes in the switched off oven. Tip: Let the dough rise overnight in the refrigerator for extra fluffiness.
