Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) Ciabatta , from the previous day
  • 1 slice(s) Parma ham, air-dried
  • 1 slice(s) fig(s), fresh
  • 1 slice(s) Manchego
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • some olive oil
  • some pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Appetizer or snack with wine

Toast the bread under the grill or in a toaster, rub it with the garlic clove, and drizzle with a little olive oil. Top the bread with a slice of Parma ham and a slice of a fresh fig of the appropriate size, sprinkle with cheese, and grind with pepper. Bake under the hot grill in the oven until the cheese is melted and lightly browned. The figs will be very hot, so let them cool slightly before eating.
