Spätzle pudding with minced meat and paprika

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ¾ pack of spaetzle
  • salt water
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 package of tomatoes, pureed
  • Paprika powder
  • Garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small can of corn, drained
  • 1 pack of cheese (Gouda), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the spaetzle in salted water for about 10 minutes. Fry the ground beef and season well. Dice the bell pepper. Combine the cooked spaetzle and the fried ground beef with the bell pepper and drained corn in a casserole dish. Combine the cream, sour cream, and passata in a bowl and season well to taste. Pour the liquid over the rest of the mixture in the casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese. Then bake in the oven at about 180°C for about 20 minutes. It tastes delicious and is very filling.
