Minced meat pie

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 1 can of corn (sweet corn)
  • 1 gr. can/n peas and carrots
  • 500 g mushrooms or 1 large can
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • n. B. Cheese slices, possibly processed cheese

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Line a sufficiently large, deep casserole dish with baking paper. Brown the minced meat in a pan and season with salt and pepper. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Then combine the corn, peas, carrots, and mushrooms. Line the bottom of the dish with the cooked ham. Cover the ham with cheese. Layer the browned minced meat and the vegetable mixture into the casserole dish. Mix in a layer of cheese every now and then to help it hold together. Finish with cheese and cover the casserole dish with the puff pastry. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 35-45 minutes. The meat pie is ready when the puff pastry is golden brown. Finally, place a serving plate on top of the casserole dish, flip the mixture over with a flourish (be careful of grease splashes!), and lift the casserole dish off the heat.
