Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g carrot(s)
- 100 ml Madeira or port wine
- 50 g butter
- 25 g sugar
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks. Caramelize the sugar in a pan. Once the sugar is browned, add the butter and carrots and fry briefly. Deglaze with the wine and cook the carrots until al dente. Season with salt and pepper.
