Pear and ham cakes

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 sheets of puff pastry, square (45 g each, frozen)
  • 1 can of pear(s)
  • 6 slices of cheese (raclette cheese)
  • 6 slice(s) cooked ham, thin slices
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 2 some oil
  • some sugar
  • 200 g lamb’s lettuce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the puff pastry sheets next to each other and let thaw. Preheat the oven (top/bottom heat: 200°C, fan: 175°C, gas mark 3). Drain the pears. Place the pastry in 6 cold-rinsed ramekins (approx. 10 cm) or on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Prick the bases several times with a fork. Remove the rind from the cheese. Place 1 slice of ham, 1 pear half, and 1 slice of cheese on each pastry. Sprinkle with pepper. Bake in the hot oven for approx. 15 minutes until golden brown. Peel and finely dice the onion. Mix with the vinegar, salt, pepper, and a little sugar. Whisk in the oil. Trim and wash the lettuce and toss with the dressing. Serve everything on the plate.
