Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 slices of toast (preferably white bread, sliced by the baker)
- butter
- 4 slices of Appenzeller
- 2 pears, ripe
- 4 slices of breakfast bacon

quick and easy dinner
Lightly toast the bread, let it cool, and spread it lightly with butter. Then place the crustless cheese slices on top. Core the pears and slice them fan-shaped. Arrange half a pear on top of each slice of cheese. Cut the bacon slices in half and place them on top of the pears. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (480°F) for about 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot.
