Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 g turkey breast, or turkey breast
  • 80 g shallot(s)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 200 g Brie (s), alternatively Camembert
  • 4 ciabatta rolls
  • 80 g arugula
  • e.g. Tabasco or horseradish
  • 90 g cranberries, sweetened

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and fry the meat until golden brown on all sides. Turn occasionally. Then remove from the pan. Heat another tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and briefly fry the thinly sliced ​​shallots until they begin to brown. Then add the honey and balsamic vinegar and let it simmer for about 3 minutes. Now cut the Brie and meat into strips about 2 cm wide and 4 to 5 cm long. Cut open the ciabatta rolls, cover the bottom half with plenty of arugula, then alternate strips of Brie and meat on top, and garnish the Brie with a few drops of Tabasco or a little horseradish. Distribute the balsamic onions on top, sprinkle plenty of cranberries on top, cover with the top half of the ciabatta, and serve. Enjoy!
