Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg roast pork
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 6 carnations
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml apple cider
  • 2 onions
  • salt, cinnamon
  • 125 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 days 12 hours; Total time approx. 2 days 12 hours 25 minutes

Lard the roast with cloves, mix the honey and cinnamon, and brush the meat well. Let it rest for about 60 minutes. Brown the meat well on all sides, add the chopped onions, fry until translucent, deglaze with apple cider, and simmer covered for 90-100 minutes, adding more liquid as needed. Remove the meat and keep warm. Strain the sauce, season with salt and cinnamon, bring to a boil briefly, and finish with cream. Cut the meat into nice slices and serve with the sauce. Rice with peach slices goes perfectly with the meat.
