Favorite porridge with poppy seeds and honey

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g oat flakes, flower-soft
  • 150 ml milk or milk substitute
  • 2 tbsp, heaped poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp, heaped honey
  • poppy
  • Honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the oat flakes, milk, and poppy seeds in a small saucepan over high heat. Stir frequently, otherwise the porridge will burn. Once the porridge starts to boil, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, stirring constantly, until the porridge reaches the desired consistency. This should take about 10 minutes. Then remove the pan from the heat, pour the porridge into a bowl, and garnish with poppy seeds and honey, if desired.
