Porridge with quinoa flakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 40 g oat flakes
  • 10 g quinoa flakes
  • 5 g flaxseed
  • 5 g chia seeds
  • 125 ml almond milk (almond drink)
  • 75 ml water
  • Maple syrup or sweetener of your choice
  • 1 pot of yogurt, approx. 150 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

high in fiber

Combine the water and almond milk in a small saucepan with your sweetener of choice, such as maple syrup, and heat. When it starts to boil, add the oats and cook for one minute, stirring constantly. After one minute, reduce the heat to medium, add the flaxseeds, chia seeds, and quinoa flakes, and mix. Simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Turn off the heat. Mix the yogurt into the mixture until it reaches a creamy consistency. Transfer everything to a bowl and top with your favorite toppings. I like topping with fruit, nut butter, nuts, and granola.
