Wash and trim the cauliflower and broccoli, and divide them into small florets. Cook both together in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes. Then drain and set aside. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Heat oil or clarified butter in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Season with salt, pepper, curry powder, thyme, and paprika. Alternate the vegetables and minced meat in a greased casserole dish. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-assisted). Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bacon cubes until crispy. Dust with flour and sauté while stirring. Pour in the milk and stock and stir to create a creamy sauce. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Sprinkle in the cheese and let it melt. Spread the bacon and cheese sauce over the casserole and bake it in the oven for about 30 minutes.
