Tomato Mozzarella Chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large chicken breasts
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped, approx. 400 g
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella, diced, approx. 200 g
  • 1 bag of mozzarella, grated, approx. 200 g
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 stock cube

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Briefly fry the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Then place the meat in the casserole dish. Arrange the diced mozzarella around the meat in the dish. Bring the chopped tomatoes to a boil in a saucepan and season; I use salt, pepper, paprika, and a stock cube. After seasoning, remove from the heat and add the cream. Pour the finished sauce over the meat and mozzarella, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes until golden brown. Fresh basil and pasta go great with this dish.
