Persian fruit salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 melon(s) (cantaloupe), flesh cut into pieces
  • 250 g strawberries
  • 250 g grapes, seedless, halved
  • 2 peaches, pitted, quartered
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rose water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 pinches of cinnamon powder
  • 2 pinches of clove powder
  • 2 pinch(s) turmeric
  • 1 tbsp mint, fresh, leaves cut into fine strips
  • crushed ice, for serving

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

with cantaloupe melons, strawberries, grapes, peaches

Place all the fruit in a bowl. Mix together the honey, rose water, and lemon juice. Stir in the cinnamon, cloves, and turmeric. Pour the dressing over the fruit salad and refrigerate for 1 hour. Fold in the crushed ice and mint before serving, then serve immediately.
