summery fruit salad with a pretty look

The most important tool is a melon baller, so all the delicious marbles look truly spherical. Clean the physalis and place it in a large bowl. Add the lychee (without the sauce). Use the melon baller to cut out small balls and add them until the melons are used up. Also add the melon juice to the bowl. Season the dressing with lemon juice and lychee sauce. Chill the salad until ready to serve. Fold in the fresh mint just before serving. Optionally, a glass of sparkling wine gives the salad dressing an extra kick.
