Fruit layered salad with quark cream

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • ½ m.-sized watermelon(s)
  • 1 can peach(s), approx. 800 g
  • 1 can pineapple, approx. 400 g
  • 2 apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 150 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 250 g quark, 20% fat
  • 300 g cream
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 45 minutes

Drain the pineapple and peaches, reserving the juice. Dice the watermelon, apples, pineapple, and peaches; slice the bananas. Layer the salad in the following order in a 3.5-liter bowl: bananas first, then apples, pineapple, peaches, and melon. Pour the juice from the cans over the cans. Sprinkle the oats on top. Mix the quark with vanilla sugar. Whip the heavy cream with cream stabilizer until stiff and fold into the quark. Spread the cream over the oats. Let the salad sit for a few hours, preferably overnight, and then store in the refrigerator.
